Alessia loves talking and connecting with people, so working in radio was meant to be how she shared her passion for people and music. She began her broadcast career in college at the student-run radio station. While in school for broadcast journalism, she was also interning as a reporter at a local news station and working part time in radio promotions. She earned her first on-air job after a few months. Alessia would tell you she’s still learning, but loves every minute of it.
She believes if you do what you love, you don’t feel like it’s really work. Alessia is grateful to have real and meaningful conversations with our listeners and loves the fun that comes with it. When not living her radio dream, Alessia is connecting with customers as a waitress at her family’s Italian restaurant. You’d be surprised to learn that when she isn’t being a social butterfly, she cherishes her down time and quiet nights with her family watching classic movies.
Hang out with her weekdays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Z 102.3. She might even give you a shout out on the radio!
