The U.S. Agriculture Department has directed employees to remove any mentions of climate change from its public websites, reports ABC News.
In an email sent Thursday to employees, USDA Director of Digital Communications Peter Rhee said staff should “identify and archive or unpublish any landing pages focused on climate change” by 3 p.m. EST Friday and track the content in an attached Excel spreadsheet for review.
The USDA’s Department of Communications “will review the submitted materials and make determinations on next steps,” he wrote.
